Promthep Cape or local said it Laem Promthep is part of Phuket can be said as the island symbol; clearly recognize from its tall sugar palms. There’s lot of parking and a big open space on top of the hill with a shrine and a lighthouse. Phrompthep is a good stop if you are touring the south Phuket. Before waiting over the sunset at the Promthep you can visit Rawai beach or Naiharn beach where all pretty close together. A nice retreat from the hectic Patong, they are a very scenic part of the island with little major tourist development.

Mostly visited by domestic, Promthep Cape in Phuket is an irresistible spot for a good sunset photo. This extreme south end of Phuket was visited by hundred of tourists to line up on the west facing coastline with camera. This landmark filled with people, from one end to another, just never end. They make a bee line at the edge of the stone wall taking pictures once in a while, chatting, and playing facebook while waiting for the sunset to come.

Sometimes people will walk downhill toward the end of the cape. There is a dirt path leads from the road beneath the lighthouse. The place was less of crowd, since people prefer to be at top, plenty of great views in all direction. Aside from the sunset and view over the closest island, there is nothing much to see other than the shrine and the lighthouse with mini museum in it. The lighthouse was built in 1996 to commemorate 50th anniversary of King Rama IX’s accession to the throne while the shrine. Close to parking area are several shops sells lots of souvenir, mostly cute and gorgeous, especially if you love things made of shell.

Iguazu comes from Guarami or Tupi words mean water with uasu means big. The world known it as the most beautiful waterfall in the world, this is the true wonder of nature. This great waterfall located on the border of the Brazil’s Parana State and the Argentine Province of Misiones. The first European to find the falls was Spanish conquistador Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca in 1541. Legend says that the waterfall was form by the rage of God for the beautiful bride who fled with her mortal lover. The God then sliced the river, creating waterfall thus condemning the lovers to an eternal fall.

Argentine sides of the fall allowed visitors to walk right around the water or explore the National Park whilst the Brazilian side is known for its panoramic views and splendors. Once called it as the “poor Niagara” by the First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt still you can enjoy the true natural ambiance in this nature site. You can do rock climbing as well as water sports. Iguazu has the distinction of having a greater annual flow than any other waterfall in the world.

You can visit this waterfall through two international airports close to it, that are The Argentine Cataras del Iguazu International Airport and The Brazillian Foz do Iguacu International Airport. Argentina is in 25 kilometers away from Iguazu city. It is closer to the fall’s hotels than from its counterpart in Brazil. You can use bus and taxi service from and to the Airport-Falls. You want wider views of the falls, Argentine side is the answer yet if you want to have a walkway along the Canyon with an extension to the lower base of the Devil’s Throat the Brazil is the one. Brazil also offers aerial views of the falls from helicopter. Whichever ways you prefer, enjoy the great gift from nature with Iguazu.
