Bali Welcomes the Sun Princess

As one of the most popular holiday destinations, Bali is rarely visited by cruise ships. Looking into their potential to endorse its tourism industry even further, the government and other related stakeholder have taken enormous effort to make Bali a cruise ship destination both in promotion and infrastructure development.

The continuous efforts has just started to show expected result, Bali is welcoming the Sun Princess which is scheduled to come in May 2010 carrying 2,341 passengers and 814 crews. Serious preparation is underway as this will be the first of many others to come still this year. Confirmed schedules include P&O Australia with 22 visits carrying a total of 32,692 passengers, 28 visits of Costa Crociere with 28,572 passengers, and 4 visits of Seabourn with 1,298 passengers.
